It would be easy to shrug Wasteland off as just another post post-punk album, but I consider it the end of a promising start from a band who could go far. The originality may not be there, but when a debut album grabs your attention from the start and provides some memorable songs here and there, the only thing that matters in the end is flair. Lice has their own flair, and you can notice it here on Wasteland.
