It's like Richard Dawson and Animal Collective were told to collaborate on a freak folk album and make it influenced by the music of King Crimson and Frank Zappa. Oh, and instead of those wholesome lyrics you're used to writing, it needs to have more rape and murder. It is a strangely addictive experience.

This is exactly my brand of Midwest Emo Revival. This album fills the Hotelier-shaped hole in my heart and sounds like what I wish Max Bemis could've could've written to follow up Say Anything's debut. This is how millennials properly vent about the current state. The lyrics hit very close to the home I cannot afford to buy in this economy and the choruses are anthemic shout-alongs. Some may be turned off thinking it's too one note, but that note is the one I crave.

Dark af. Visceral and menacing industrial bangers with some of the least uplifting lyrics of the past half decade.

Highly underrated. Hot Rats deservedly gets most of the acclaim, but this isn't far behind in his forays into jazz fusion.

My love is bigger than your love. SING IT!

An absolutely riotous and loud brand of indie rock where the vocals sound like a more untamed Black Francis and the tone of the music is as frenzied as At The Drive-In. No song stands out as an obvious skip and lyrics are full of humorous quotables though it isn't necessarily clear what they're talking about a lot of the time.

What's your favorite album from a genre you usually don't like? It's for another one of these dumb lists lol

In agree to an extent with the marketing stuff, but I think it's possible that people tend to get more into baseball as they get older... Yes, we need to make sure kids keep playing ball (especially in the urban areas where baseball has really fallen off), but I also think some younger people might not be that into the sport now, but might be more into it in the future as they grow up.

I agree, I'm just clinging to my denial of it. The 3 batter pitching minimum rule for next year is a HUGE fundamental rule change in my opinion. I'm fine with the 26 man roster.

Just say no to the DH in the NL. I'm oldschool like that.

I've been sleeping on Blur's stuff, I really would like to catch up. So where do I pick it up from Parklife?
