I'm certainly not going to make a habit of rating and reviewing deluxe editions of albums because oftentimes it's simply not worth it but in this case I have to because the value added by the bonus songs is actually quite significant and changes my score considerably. It's absolutely insane that these extra songs were cut from the base record - Vigilante Shit made it into the full thing but Would've, Could've, Should've didn't? I'm sorry? What drugs were being taken when that decision was made? Whereas I've had to let the majority of the standard tracks sit with me to truly appreciate them, basically all of these bonus tracks immediately clicked. I love Taylor and I love her music and I love the majority of the choices she makes but to choose Antonoff over Dessner was a ridiculous choice - hopefully this is a lesson to her that Dessner and his contributions are basically invaluable.
