21 Savage & Metro Boomin - SAVAGE MODE II

21 Savage and Metro Boomin's sequel to their 2016 collaboration tape that is an upgrade in every way possible. The first time I heard Savage Mode I wasn't the biggest fan as other than the singles I really didn't like a lot of the songs on there. In recent months it has grown on me and I will be upping my score for it soon but I was not prepared for how much better this one would be. I love the dark vibe of this album and Morgan Freeman's narration really helps with that.

Metro's production is very gritty and spooky as mentioned earlier and Savage's menacing voice works wonders on it. He also spits great bars on every single song on here. The features do decent on here as well with Nudy out of everyone doing the best in my opinion. The only nitpick I have with this is I felt it dragged on a bit at the very end of the album but this is still a great collab tape.

Overall a solid entry into Savage and Metro's discography.
