Tame Impala - The Slow Rush

The Slow Rush will surely cheer someone in their deepest of sorrows, just plug in and get lost in the array of sounds, uplifting production. Time is an essential thing for Kevin in this album, as he constantly finds different ways of seeing it.

If it's the time he wants to spend with his wife in "Instant Destiny" or the time he wish he'd spend with his father before he died in "Posthumous Forgiveness" or just how people should only look forward in "Tomorrow's Dust", but he never sheds those topics in darkness in sorrow, instead filling them with light and hope for what's to come

The songwriting was lacking in small parts, for example the really corny chorus of Instant Destiny, even though the melodies are quite catchy, but for the most part the simplicity is the key, letting the beats rise, creating tons of great build up.

This might be Tame Impala's worst album, but probably he's most mature and still an essential listen
