Royce da 5'9'' - The Allegory
Feb 23, 2020
The soulful beats together with Nickel's great writing ability together with his great flows is what makes this album great. The amount of "filler" specially with all the interludes, is what keeps this album from being amazing.

Royce is a different rapper and person since the time I heard in first in Bad Meets Evil, he has a family and is worried in what kind of world he's leaving them in, specially for black people. He has this ability of sounding deep and "woke" without sounding cringe, for most of the time.

The features are great for the most part, didn't expect to see Vince Staples in there, but he kills it, the Griselda members all killed it as well. This might not be his best album, but is definitely his most mature
