What's the best way to describe this álbum?

Not sure, but let's just say, if you're a fan of Future, you're gonu have a good time, but if you aren't this sin't exactly the álbum that Will get you there. Me? I've Lost all hopes on Future recapturing the Magic of DS2 or Monster, the latter not Only being my favorite Future project, but being one of my favorite mixtapes of all time.

For starters, those albume were shorter, the first issue i have with High Off Life is that, once i ... read more

Charli comes up with another Electropop masterclass, a fun and loud experience that Will make you move and take your aos off the bed/couch for a change.

Filled with that experimental pop sound that has made Charli what she is today, but if I was to compare it to her last álbum, i'd say while Charli has more hard hitting songs and is made more memorable because of all the guests, How i'm feeling sounds more personal, with no features whatsoever and with less songs, sounds a bit more ... read more

Drake dropped a collection of "loosies" and while some of them manage to be complete bangers, others should have simply not a seen the light of day.

Dark Lane Demo Tapes is packed with bangers, and that's just what Drake does, and he does it well. The project starts actually in FLAMES, the first 3 songs are really great. I love Giveon's feature in "Chicago Freestyle" and how Drake uses Eminem's "Superman" line, it made sense and was well handled.
Toosie Slide is ... read more

Rina Sawayama has just released a debut for the ages.

Rina picks all the sounds of pop we are already familiar with and does an amazing job of using them with such finesse. With songs that I imagine will make concerts go crazy like "Paradisin" and "Who's gonna save you now", the latter which Is a song that if sung by girl bands like little mix or even spice girls, would be heard and sang for years to come.

It's a shame that amazing pop songs like "XS" or ... read more

8 years after the release of "The Idler Wheel" and it really feels like Fiona Apple hasn't missed a bit, Fetch The Boltcutters is grand, it sounds cheerful and aggressive at the same time.

This album shows Fiona's vulnerabilities, her fears, her regrets and her wins. The melodies are masterful, the instrumentals are engaging from front to back. The pianos in "Shameika" are addicting, the instrumental in Relay makes the repetitiveness of the song seem fresh every ... read more

Sometimes the comfort zone is just the best place.

Thundercat doesn't adventure much in his latest album, but still gives some amazing soul music to listen to. In "It Is What It Is" Thundercat shows compelling vocals, with amazing and hypnotic production. "I Love Louis Cole" was the first track that really stood out to me, as the track I thought to myself, I'm gonna have a good time.

Black Qualls is groovy and the features are outstanding, but if I'm going to talk about ... read more

The first step for Don Toliver to achieve complete stardom is to completely get out of Travis Scott shadow as soon as possible, or else he will be forever remember as a Scott clone.

Unfortunately, Heaven or Hell does absolutely nothing to get him off that label. Even though most of the songs aren't bad, you will be spending most of the time listening to this thinking, Travis Scott would be better here. Worse in the song "Euphoria" that Don Toliver sounds like he is playing second ... read more

For someone who had a lot to say about "Mumble Rapper" he surely tried really hard to copy those "mumble rappers".

I just reviewed Future Nostalgia, where I said Dua Lipa has built on the promise that was her self titled debut album. Where am I going with this?

Well, Joyner did the complete opposite with ADHD. Coming from his last project, the "508-507-2209" mixtape that I didn't think was amazing, but thought was solid for a debut, and it felt like a promise, ... read more

I am very confident that Future Nostalgia will be looked back in the next 5 years as a highly essential Dance Pop album, and a modern classic.

I usually don't like to use the "classic" stamp on albums, I fell like Future Nostalgia will be what EMOTION was back in 2015. It's just banger, after banger after banger. While Dua Lipa doesn't have the amazing writing capabilities, I think the fantastic production, Dua Lipa's amazing voice catchy melodies in the hooks, just make me ignore ... read more

After Hours is The Weekends best project since Trilogy and probably his best, most engaging album.

Although there is no evolution in either songwriting and vocal performances I think the stellar production is what makes this album unique for The Weeknd.

The melodies create his nostalgic feel, you can't help yo groove and dance to most of the songs in this album and The Weeknd gives us melodies that will make you feel like you're in a music videos, specially if you're walking while listening ... read more

A written testimony starts as one of the best rap albums of the past 10 years and ends as a really underwhelming moments in Hip-Hop altogether.

It starts with Jay Electronica and Jay-Z firing from left to right, all cylinders, showing great rhyming skills, Jay-Z at his absolute swaggy flows and Jay Electronica's powerful voice command the album.

The production in the first half of this album is gold, The Alchemist proving amazing beat in "The Neverending Story", but my favorite is ... read more

Lil Uzi Vert finally releases Eternal Atake, and... It's ok

Personally I never got the hype on Lil Uzi Vert as a trap artist, I enjoy more the music of Travis Scott, Future and Denzel Curry, Young Thug, trap artists that made trap in their own brand. Lil Uzi never fell in that category for me, and after listening to Eternal Atake, he still doesn't.

Getting into the positive points, I'd say I enjoyed most of the songs here to a certain extent, some are just harmful fun, and other are actual ... read more

Color Theory being my first foray into Soccer Mommy's music, only makes me think I probably started from the wrong place. This album already feels so accomplished, so adventurous, so mature, that I probably got to experience Soccer Mommy for the first time at her absolute best (I might be wrong).

Filled with fantastic indie rock instrumental, and great pop tunes, with fantastic and catchy melodies and hooks, that with the help of her sweet and beautiful voice makes it a pure, and amazing ... read more

Caribou creates an Indielectronica record that transcends multiple genres and makes every track hit in different kinds of ways.

Going from Jazz/Funk in the amazing "Home" to a French House style in "Lime" that you think would fit perfectly in the Daft Punk catalog, to just Dance Music in "Never Come Back" this album has something for everybody to enjoy and does it amazingly well. It even has folk inspired electronic in Magpie, it's great.

The vocal loops used ... read more

This album sure packs some fantastic tracks in it's locker, going from the most recent single "Delete Forever" with great and catchy melodies in the hooks, the last track IDORU that creates a fantastic closing atmosphere and even being 7 minutes long, you just get so lost in the fantastic sound that it just breezes by.

4AM get's some Indian pop influence and uses it to it's best ability, mixing it with a bit of a Japanese kind tune in the hook, that is such ear candy it's so pleasant ... read more

The soulful beats together with Nickel's great writing ability together with his great flows is what makes this album great. The amount of "filler" specially with all the interludes, is what keeps this album from being amazing.

Royce is a different rapper and person since the time I heard in first in Bad Meets Evil, he has a family and is worried in what kind of world he's leaving them in, specially for black people. He has this ability of sounding deep and "woke" without ... read more

It's honestly not the harsh and disturbing aesthetic and sound of the album that I have a problem with. It's mostly that it many of the songs don't have an affect on me. And after the song ends I'm left with nothing, even though I can appreciate the quality.

Cindy Lee drowns her voice how she drowns her sorrows and she leaves the listener really disturbed. There are some positive highlights, like the nightmarish bump of Lucifer stand where she is basically taking a stand against all evil in ... read more

Nothing new from A Boogie's Artist 2.0.

While there are a few highlights, and a few songs that a thought were ok, the 1h on this album passes by like 2h because of the repetitive production, and the overload of auto-tune. I don't think some of this artists realized that auto-tune doesn't fix a shit voice.

There are some good and subtle uses of auto-tune in Artist 2.0, but some are so hard to hear, like a scratching on a glass. The best moments are when A Boogie is not using auto tune or he ... read more

So he basically took away all the maturity and growth of purpose and threw it on the trash, nice going.

He should be paying us to listen to his album.
