This album is full of some absolutely beautiful instrumental phrasing. Like, these organic guitar licks snap and echo with such vitality its engrossing. Its echoing, its cavernous, its lovely psychedelic dream pop with a jazzy flair. But then Tash starts singing, and their voice is grating and annoying. The lyrics are pointless and they sound like someone with a cold doing an Amy Winehouse impersonation. This should have been an instrumental record and I'd tick it up a full letter grade. As it stands it is still enjoyable.
