Joanna Newsom’s ‘Have One on me’,
her third studio album produced entirely by herself. Running in at over 120 minutes in length and containing 3 discs of music, it is her longest album to date.

I knew that this would be one of those albums that takes a lot to digest, each lyric has meaning - which meant that I would need to go through the tracks and their meanings extensively because how could I not.

Joanna’s music has really grown on me recently, and she is becoming ... read more

Life is a horrid thing.

The world is as still as time, nothing moving for miles upon miles. My alarm blares at 5:30, the same as every morning. I wrestle with my tired mind for a couple minutes before finally I grow too tired to even do that. I get up slowly, like my bed is made of the stickiest glue imaginable. What an immaculate snoozefest

That is my first album from one of the most famous country singer-songwriters in the world at the moment. Although I wasn't the biggest fan of the singles, I was genuinely expecting to at least like this album, given how much praise an album like Golden Hour has received. And well, It's safe to say that I'm pretty disappointed.

This is Kacey Musgraves' fifth studio album, three years after star-crossed which is known as some of the least beloved albums in her ... read more
