Indeed, This Is It

For a debut, this is surprisingly good. Only a handful of artists can hit the nail pretty hard on a debut. Of course, I don't think this is the greatest debut ever and I sure don't think this album is perfect but I am satisfied.

A majority of the tracklist left me pleased and the lofi aesthetic of the vocals did a good job of distinguishing this album from the plethora of indie rock albums released around the time. This album doesn't really do anything groundbreaking or ... read more

My Favorite Game Of All Time...

Ok, so first I want to preface this. This will not be a review of the soundtrack for Undertale. The OST is undoubtedly amazing but does have quite a lot of filler so for that reason I can't give it a perfect 10. With that out of the way, this is my review of my favorite game of all time, Undertale.

Talking about Undertale in 2020, huh? Yeah, it definitely is strange considering the game was released five years ago. However, yesterday as I was browsing YouTube ... read more

Who Knew Strings And Glitchy Beats Could Work So Well Together?

After two very solid projects, Björk's progression was becoming quite apparent. With Homogenic, Björk seeked further progression in her music. The beats are more abrasive, stronger vocal harmonies are present, and the presence of strings become simply intoxicating.

Homogenic seemed to be everything Björk was building up to with the release of her previous albums. Of course, she would tear this approach down to ... read more

Dope Flows + Abstract Production + Clever Lyricism + Fun Concept = It's Aight

So...the highly regarded hip hop album Madvillainy is...well ya know it's...uhhhhh....slightly overrated. OKAY WAIT! Before you lose your shit my friendly reader let me explain my case. Firstly, I still think it's a damn solid project. I'm only saying this isn't the classic album everyone seems to think it is. So let me explain this album for anyone who somehow hasn't noticed this hip hop duo.

Madvillainy is a ... read more

Y'all See That Locrian Video? No? Just Me? Ok.

A bit of a wait but here we are with Björk's sophomore album in Post. This album is decisively better than Debut, not to discredit her debut album of course. The album starts off strong and never falls off too hard. At times, I can become slightly fatigued from a track but these short moments are gone almost as fast as they appear because Björk decides to switch up the beat, shooting an already fine track to amazing.

What's an important moral lesson you've learnt from an album?

Hiya, I'm doing a list of peoples favourite artists and giving my opinion on them. Who is your favourite artist?

hey! sorry ive been pretty busy lately so I couldn't respond to your shout but I finally listened to your EP. I can see a lot of comparisons with this project and the microphones' 'mount eerie'. they both have this disorienting, dark and experimental atmosphere. I feel as though you have to potential to create an album similar to mount eerie, because your strengths lie in atmosphere creation (especially that last track, jesus!). my only real flaw with the ep is how the track 'either way' kinda disrupts the flow of the ep, but other than that, great stuff! I hear a lot of potential.

I have risen from the dead after going to a trip in Japan (I saw your pfp btw) and after getting my phone stolen (which makes my steam guard inaccessible), and this will basically be my first review of 2020, so, congrats I guess? I really liked your EP. The atmosphere of it seemed so intense and tortured, being backed up by a very chilly ukelele. The last song was my favorite. It seemed like the madness seemed to die down, but was still there. Continue making these experimental ukelele songs, because they seem interesting :).
