Epic Album Art

Alright, so next on my queue was this album...another classic from The Beatles. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if every Beatles album is considered a classic in some shape or form. Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself.

The last Beatles album I listened to was Sgt. Pepper's and that was nearly a year ago. Just to stay updated, I relistened to Sgt. Pepper's before this to find any comparisons but there weren't many I found.

The White Album seems like the culmination of ... read more

This Was Supposed To Be His Last Album...Yikes!

Well, here we are. The drop in Eminem's discography. I knew this was coming but I wasn't prepared for such a deep drop in quality. I'm genuinely impressed by how bad Eminem managed to get in only two years. Anyway, let me get into this pile of crap.

The opening isn't really all that interesting as it's almost a complete copy of the intro for The Eminem Show. Also, yes, I know the MMLP had a smiliar intro to the SSLP but it was different so ... read more

Listening to 4:44 on 4:44 at runtime 4:44 at 4:44 P.M.

As usual, I'm late for these kinds of albums since I really got big into album reviews in late 2018. Still, I felt inclined to give this a chance since Jay-Z is a common name when it comes to rap. Now I've never listened to any Jay-Z song before this album, although I was aware of who he was.

Production is very solid, which comes in the form of these soulful beats with a trap edge which works surprisingly well together. Jay's flows were ... read more

Downfall Coming Soon...

Eminem's 4th Album...isn't actually that bad. Sure, it's clearly not as enjoyable as his previous two albums but it does manage to impress me with a few tracks. The Eminem Show is a claimed concept album but it really doesn't feel like a show where as it more feels like a collection of Eminem tracks where some hit and some flat out do not.

The production is mostly similar to his last new projects with a majority produced by Dre. On this album, however, a few tracks ... read more

Production From Two Of My Favorite Producers? Yes, Please!

Be is an album that I saw on a few lists and at first saw real no reason to listen to it, at least soon. However, after seeing Kanye help produce the majority of the album and J Dilla help with two other tracks, I knew I had to at least give it a chance. After a few listens, It's pretty great. Production is on point, because it's Dilla and Kanye. The actual lyricism wasn't bad, though. Sure, I do prefer other flows compared to Common's ... read more

What's an important moral lesson you've learnt from an album?

Hiya, I'm doing a list of peoples favourite artists and giving my opinion on them. Who is your favourite artist?

hey! sorry ive been pretty busy lately so I couldn't respond to your shout but I finally listened to your EP. I can see a lot of comparisons with this project and the microphones' 'mount eerie'. they both have this disorienting, dark and experimental atmosphere. I feel as though you have to potential to create an album similar to mount eerie, because your strengths lie in atmosphere creation (especially that last track, jesus!). my only real flaw with the ep is how the track 'either way' kinda disrupts the flow of the ep, but other than that, great stuff! I hear a lot of potential.
