This album continues to amaze me, a hugely creative and ambitions effort that is both haunting and awe inspiring.

A Crow Looked at Me should not be critiqued, it is a beautiful and haunting expression of love and grief. I have never heard anything so humbling, something that possesses so much emotion in ways that feel personal yet relatable. Death is a subject that is widely talked about, whether it be in movies, music, or literature, but rarely is it told in a way like this. While their debut found its strength in perfecting what was already popular and implemented in Southern Hip Hop, ATLiens had its own unique sound, consisting of unorthodox themes and production that separate Outkast from other artists of their time. They sound much more mature and developed here, as if they have transitioned away from the norm and focused on making a name from themselves in order to survive and remain relevant. Emotionally captivating, should crushing piece of work. I feel like this doesn't deserve to be viewed critically as an album, it feels more like an expression of grief and love.

High energy album with two of the most entertaining rappers in the game. Lil Wayne delivers his best performance since Carter 3.
