bro is never dropping again but at least we got this masterwork
Edit: I shall now eat my words
While Joji’s vocals are as good as ever and the moody, minimal production matches his voice extremely well, this album is full of songs that, while they’re well-done and should be catchy, due to the poor song structure are sadly forgettable. There are a few extremely good songs in here, but the album as a whole feels like 20 minutes of filler padding out about 8 real songs.

An incredibly catchy midtempo dubstep track. I haven't been listening to a great deal of electronic lately but this is fantastic.
Shoutout to sad girl ethereal indie, gotta be one of my favorite genres
Edit: Wait it's a guy nvm. Shoutout to sad guy ethereal indie.
Defsharp's honest writing is at full force in this gentle, acoustic masterwork.
It's easy to hear the emotion behind the creation of this album - through the vocal performances, production, and instrumentation, everything combines to create an atmosphere of beautiful noise.
A cross between glitch pop, noise rock, pop-punk, and with some shoegaze elements as well, defsharp has carved out their own niche within the musical landscape. And they couldn’t have done it better. This is a phenomenal EP with production that ranges from quiet and emotional to noisy and distorted, incredibly personal writing, and excellent vocal performances.

I discovered this band from my parents long before their music begain going viral on TikTok, and it is my unchangeable opinion that this is and always has been a masterpiece of fantasy-inspired folk music, viral or no. Every aspect of this record, from the instrumentation to the songwriting to the mixing and production, the vocal work, even the album structure, is fantastically well-done and deserving of even more recognition than its virality has gained it.

This is one of, if not the, best indie rock album of all time. Everything in this record is perfect - the mixing, the production, the instrumentation, the songwriting, and the sound. The title track is one of the most beautiful, cathartic songs I've ever heard, and the rest of the album doesn't disappoint either.

I don't think it's an overstatement to say that this band has perfected post-metal. Insane riffs, beautiful vocals, etheral ambience, and incredible song structures combine to create one of the best metal projects this year.
This is, to this day, likely Acloudyskye’s best work. The instrumentation is a beautiful mixture of raw and synthesized sounds, distorted drops and ethereal ambience. Vocally and lyrically the record is fairly strong, but it’s the production and the flow of the album where this record really shines. This is a true masterwork, and one of the most underrated albums I’ve ever listened to.
