Like A Rolling Stone has become my favorite song, Dylan has become my favorite ARTIST throughout this year and that song kicked off my Dylan ''era''. The whole album is filled with memorable and interesting tracks, Tombstone Blues is electrifying, i can almost add my own lyrics to it, a quality many Dylan songs possess. Ballad Of A Thin Man, Queen Jane, Desolation Row come as songs that i also listen to on repeat. With Dylan a song i didn't care for too much can always ... read more
I have realised that im not much of an album listener, i can't enjoy a song the same way through an album then i do by just listening to the song on its own. This album has some great songs but most of them sort of blended together for me, its hard for me to remember how some of those songs even sounded. A lot of them felt too repetetive, you basically heard the whole song like 30 seconds in and then it was just dragged out to a longer runtime. Basically all the tracks below an 80 i ... read more
I really enjoyed all american bitch and ballad of a homeschooled girl, the rest were either good for the ears or just kinda meh but none of the songs were bad, all of the lyrics flowed together real nice and Olivia sounds great, spectacular vocals on homeschooled girl.
This is unironically the worst piece of music i have ever heard, it has pretty much every element that i could hate in a song.
Absolute dumpster fire, i would rather listen to those ear rape albums where the whole sound is just loud static and nonsense than this trash.
I didn't listen to the whole thing, but from the 12 and a half minutes i did hear it was engaging, and felt more like 6 minutes than 12.
It is really well composed and knows when to add something new to the piece.
Wow, their first AMAZING album, one of their only one too, as all the other albums are either OKAY or MASTERPIECES, depending on which way you look at their career, back or front.
Yesterday is the first masterpiece that The Beatles made, the type of song that other legendary artists WISH they had written, its impact on people is clear to see as its the most covered song EVER.
Help! is a classic bop, You've got to Hide Your Love Away is an underrated beatles folk bop same as Iv'e Just Seen A ... read more
Enjoyed this way more than i thought i would, it seems to be called the worst by a lot of people but i still think its better than With The Beatles, which is also considered the worst by many.
I seem to be the only person to really dig the Kansas City / Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey! cover, i loved it tbh.
Overall a pretty good album, only a few yellow songs for me.
Wow, this was way better than i was expecting it to be, every song here is great and much higher callibre then any of their previous set of music. One of the earliest hard rock albums too, a lot of the songs here hit that hard rocky sound mostly thanks to John's amazing vocals, its certainly his best album in terms of vocal performaces, he carries this whole album pretty much.
One of the fastest listening experiences ive had aswell, whole album went by in a flash.
The first half is pretty freaking good, then the second half becomes the most filler music ive ever heard, nobody remembers those tracks, thankfully the last track picks it up again and manages to end the album on a high note, i like it even though the general ratings seem to put it in the yellow zone.
There are some serious fucking bops in this album but they are thrown in-between numerous filler songs that all sound somewhat samey and that i have already forgotten about, but its still a great debut album, the opening track almost seems like a walkout for the entire band, the chorus for that song just sorta has that feel like its a new chapter in music starting (which it certainly was.)
The album cover and name of the album really don't do this album justice, its beautiful and consistantly great, it is something beautiful to put in the background but also to take in and listen to.
Another fantastic movie soundtrack, this movie spans over 4 decades and the music chosen in each of them is perfect and fits scenes perfectly.
Only gonna rate the Beatles tracks here cuz, well, its their name on the album cover and not George Martin's and it seems that none of his music here really stands out., George Martin gets to shine on their next Album of course.

Hurt is obviously one of the greatest covers of all time and one of the greatest songs of all time too, but damn The Man Comes Around is such an amazing song aswell. one of the best openers i've heard in a long time. Every song here has that vibe of an old man singing about his life in the middle of a quiet desert, or quiet winter plains, basically every song here hits because they got that sort of isolated yet welcoming vibe to it.

The Man Comes Around - 98
Hurt - 100

As a movie soundtrack it really doesn't get much better than this for me, every song hits, every song perfectly fits every scene even though some of them shouldn't.
I won't be giving movie soundtracks ratings higher than 90 as i don't want them to overtake actual msuci albums, wouldn't be right.
Metal + Hip Hop + One Night Stand = Exmilitary
