it does drag at the end but by god is the start amazing
aftercare was vastly different and, while an amazing album, i do think this shift was important for her. it feels more polished, and the songwriting, while still stylized in a way that's on brand for her, feels more personal perhaps? this is like hell is a teenage girl except without the jumbled 'aesthetic' lyricism she displayed on that project. also the intro to high on heaven sounds exactly like the house md theme song... just me... ok.
