"Dedicated" is a second dose of " E•MO•TION", but now in a more minimalistic, funky, disco way. Yeah, Carly had big expectations for this album and while it's not as perfect as "E•MO•TION", she still manages to create a brilliant and well crafted album!
The theme of the album is kinda similar to her past one -falling in love and experiencing what come with that feeling-, but this outlook feels more mature, her recognizing she is falling in love in "Julien" and then ending the standard version with her wanting something "real" and recognizing that's all she wants in "Real Love", and then ending the ""deluxe" with her falling in love with her self and what makes her happy in her loneliness in "Party For One".
She is truly "Dedicated" to the search of feeling love.
