The Magnetic Fields - Andrew in Drag

My old stinky review of 69 Love Songs as a whole

(Also before I begin my ramblings, I want to link this review I am VERY proud of: https://letterboxd.com/toasterqueen12/film/bros-before/ I link this later in the review but the chances of people seeing down there are quite low)

This is not a review of Andrew in Drag, although it's a great song. Love it's examination of the complex indescribablity of sexuality with ... read more

Dr. Bombay - Rice & Curry

"Born 17th November 1963, Malmö, Sweden. After an attempt to be a country singer ("Johnny Moonshine"), Jakobsen became famous under his fictitious identity as Indian taxi driver Dr. Bombay.
Bombay arrived late in the big Eurodance wave, in 1998, with the album "Rice And Curry". The title song, as well as "Calcutta (Taxi Taxi Taxi)" and "SOS (The Tiger Took My Family)" were successful, humouristic singles. Subsequently, he went on to record ... read more

I don't like dogging on people, expecially small acts. But you don't know true terror until you listen to a three minute, almost spoken word poem-esque piece where a young girl cries into her ukulele about how she feels ostracized that nobody in her close circle like Homestuck or Dr. Who or something and so she starts crying about how beautiful the act of "obsessing over media" is ... read more

The Goldwaters - Sing Folk Songs To Bug The Liberals
10
This is the most pathetic album ever created potentially. It'd be funny if this was like some 1960's Tom Macdonald but it's not. It's funnier than that. It's a bunch a fresh faced yokels spending their precious time dickriding Barry Goldwater so hard that they start to sing about him as if he's a christ figure who'll "shock the liberals." The band clearly feels insecure about their fame. Their first song is having an announcer screaming "it's the beloved political satirist group ... read more
BROCKHAMPTON - The Family

He's listing every good encounter with his band mates and he sounds like he's admitting to having sex with all of them.

BROCKHAMPTON IS BACK BABY!!!!!!

Brockhampton has always been too open as a group, expecially Kevin. So this is the logical conclusion to the band. This is hardly even an album at some points it's a recorded therapy session for Kevin that he's just dumping in our lap and asking us to diagnose him essentially. It might genuinely be the most voyuristic piece of music ever ... read more

heyy! I've been a long-time follower of yours and i'd love to know your opinion on Juçara Marçal's "Encarnado", it's a Rock/Brazilian Avant-Garde album that tackles on a lot of heavy topics and I thought you would like it since you love Chico Buarque's "Construção". Please check it out when you can!!

Hi, I am making a community list and if you're interested in contributing I would appreciate your input. I have been interested to execute this research for a while so I hope to get as many responses as possible. You just have to answer a simple question: Do you use light mode or dark mode on the AOTY site? You can also give an explanation on why you use either one. Thanks a lot if you decide to answer!
