Time to rate the soundtrack to a show I've never seen. Yay!! My favorite thing to do!

This is hectic as fuuuck. I love hectic jazz, in fact it might be my favorite type of jazz, the kind that just whips your body like a ragdoll all over the room. The kind that makes you want to do a backflip off the nearest wall. That kinda jazz.

Problem is this album has songs that aren't mega-hectic jazz songs. It has slow cowboy like ballads (which I like), slower more melancholic songs like "Pot City" (which I don't like as much), and also Rain...which just like...what the hell is Rain.

But there's still highpoints if pure insanity, like "Bad Dog No Biscuits", which just makes me go to the limits of absolute insanity, or "Tank!" Which I've heard the first part of it before but never the full thing, I just got the best workout of my life losing my shit to that and running around in circles over. And strangely enough "Waltz for Ziti" which is just a steel guitar cover of My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean, but is very oddly one of my favorite tracks on this thing.

Will ever check the show out? Idk 🀷‍♀️. I love the Twin Peaks soundtrack and have no desire to watch that. Hell I checked out Clockwork Orange over the strength of it's soundtrack and I hated it (still like that soundtrack though.) But will I check out this soundtrack again? For some tracks... absolutely holy shit holy hell holy whiskers!

I’d say a lot of the slower tracks on thus soundtrack are enhanced with context to the show.
