Yet another great album from IDLES, and a great follow up to last year’s Ultra Mono. CRAWLER sees Joe Talbot and Co. continuing the roaring post-punk while developing their darker, eerier and more “crawling” side.

HIGHLIGHTS: MTT 420 RR, Car Crash, The Beachland Ballroom, Crawl!, Meds, Progress, The End
LOWLIGHTS: King Snake

I really want to hate this album… it’s gimmicky, it’s stupid, it’s annoying. But I can’t help but love it.

HIGHLIGHTS: 745 sticky, money machine, 800db cloud, stupid horse, ringtone, hand crushed by a mallet
LOWLIGHTS: gecgecgec

Simz follows up the best hip hop album of 2019 with (what will probably be) the best album of 2021. Stunning.
