Although nothing new or groundbreaking, "Recall" shows that Boy Hero has a lot of talent in song-writing and that they still have a lot more to deliver in the future. Perfect for the post-hardcore/emo fans, but usual music lovers might turn away from the angsty lyrical themes.
Although I don't listen to trap, there's no denying the growth and success Lil Nas had over 2019 and 2020. Through solid production and catchy bars, the song serves both as a victory lap and as a warning that this won't be the last of him. Probably won't be coming back to this, but I feel proud of how respectable this man is and I hope he manages to keep breaking his records. Don't mess with the Industry Baby.
