Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell!
Aug 30, 2019 (updated Jul 28, 2020)
97
I was not expecting this record to be how emotional and real it really was. Her beautiful voice sounds like it's straight out of a 70s indie-rock band, and the velvety smooth inflections on each word are super pleasing and bring a lot of hopefulness to the sound of the record as a whole. I seriously could not find a song that I didn't enjoy listening to; every single track is peak performance for Lana, and shows complete determination in her work.

I was considering giving this record a 99, but I took into account the single flaw that this record has. The pacing of this record is a bit slow, but not enough to completely bore me; that's just Lana's music, really. I enjoyed everything I heard here, and I don't have a single other nit-picky thing. This is s tier.
