The Beatles - Yellow Submarine

I can definitely see now why this is popularly known as the worst Beatles album.
"Yellow Submarine" is essentially the soundtrack to a film with the exact same name. I'm not sure why The Beatles made this an LP, especially considering that there are only 4 original Beatles songs. 2 of the others are previously released, and the other 7 are specifically for the film and created by George Martin.

I don't have a lot to say about this record considering that the 4 original songs weren't anything to write home about. My favorite two were probably "Hey Bulldog" and "Only A Northern Song" though I must admit that "It's All Too Much" was very interesting. I am surprised that I am rating this album so average, considering that this was created by the Beatles. But, most artists have at least one flop.

All of the 7 soundtrack songs are pretty good, but since they aren't even by the Beatles, I find it hard to even include them in my rating.
In conclusion: not terrible but very unmemorable and bad for The Beatles' standards.

Cover Art Review: 5/10
This cover art is not very visually pleasing at all, but it does capture the psychedelic nature of the album well.
