A decent debut from this band. The first 4 tracks are the strongest.

One of the best shoegaze albums of the decade.

Less cohesive than her last album, but makes up for it with the experimentation that she continues to expand upon. She goes back to her roots of dance pop, but fuses it with newer electronic influences, folk pop, and downtempo.

It's her best album, and a risk that payed off incredibly. Downtempo just fits Madonna so well.

Pretty average. 'Nostalgia Kills' is the clear highlight.

Definitely better than 'The Sword & The Soaring', but not better than 'Memoirs in Armour'. A great ending to a great trilogy.

Narratively and lyrically great. Production is a little basic and one-dimensional, though, apart from a couple songs.

The first 3 tracks, which includes the 1 minute intro, are where this album peaks. Nothing too terrible after, it's just decent, albeit a couple bad lyrical moments.

Good, but really picks up at around track 3 and does a decent job at keeping that momentum until the end.
