Sustain The Rigour

I never would've thought Techno would still be prevalent in 2023, but I'm glad to see there's still life in the genre today.

What we have here from Blame The Mono are 4 fast, energetic tracks filled with pounding kicks, grimy basslines & synths.

Each track lasts 5+ mins and contain the right amount of energy that is needed for giving an impact on the dancefloor. The German duo deliver on this rightfully well.

Conepusher stands out for me the mlst of the 4 tracks as it nicely replicates the old school vibes of Techno from the mid 90s.

Caledonian Woofers is also a banger because it combines Techno with Breakbeat, which goes together REALLY nicely here.

The only drawback that I can think of is sometimes the vocal samples can occasionally be overused (mainly in Front Left Rodeo).

Other than that, it's a highly entertaining EP that signals another promising outlook for what the EDM scene will offer for 2023.
