Yknow, it's super weird how on that one week at the end of July, 2 amazing debut EPs dropped. What am I missing? What's up with that week that attracts gold?

Anyway yeah, this is just an amazing debut album. I don't even know where the hell does this group or this EP comes from but daaaamn if it is not a pleasant surprise. It's just a faithful homage to the early 3rd Gen GG era without sounding like a ripoff. My god, this album makes me feel things I didn't know I can feel.

Excellent, just excellent debut from the most promising group in Kpop right now. I can't believe that outta nowhere they just break into the Kpop scene and be like "Oops, we accidentally dropped 4 amazing tracks without any warning whatsoever". Like my god, I really do not like saying this but NewJeans really saved Kpop this year because oh boi 2022 Kpop is like ass before NewJeans dropped.

Shit dropped outta nowhere and beating the quality of like 80% of Kpop songs this year. Can't make this shit up.

Yukika's back at it again with another great single. The cover art is also pretty cute.

Youha delivering a great debut EP with great production and songwriting on this one. Would've ranked this higher if the title track is better.

I think this is my fave mini-album by them. It's just a really really good and cohesive album from front to back. The opening and closer of the album are 2 of the best Kpop bsides of 2022, especially the closer, "Rewind".

Now THIS IS the comeback we needed after that longass hiatus, not whatever Queendom was. Like goddamn, I was not really feeling the album on first listen but it just grew on me extremely hard after relistening to it over and over again. This is just Red Velvet at peak performance. Other 3rd Gen GG, take notes please.

A great follow-up to their excellent debut album with an itty bitty more mature sound. Now hopefully they don't succumb into the GC sound anytime soon. I probably just jinxed it.

A surprising gem from the pile of nugu dirt. Nothing revolutionary but the crop of songs presented here is executed well. The members also have a unique vocals which is always a plus.

Think this song will be one of the most overlooked Kpop song of 2022. A well produced cute song that I really really like. Definitely looking forward to Adora's next album or single, hopefully an album copium.

Up! is actually really good. They just tell Full8loom to produce them a fun summer song with interesting structure and a really great instrumental and Full8loom gave it to them just like that. Definitely a Kpop 2022 highlight for me.

The mini album is great too. Encapsulates the summer vibe really well. Prefer this album than LOONA's ngl.

Cute and solid even if the sudden beat switch on Patbingsu is kinda jarring to me.

Yes, yes, and yes. This album's great, especially on the second half. One second you are sitting down in a room jamming calmly to the cute "Red Balloon" and "Love More" and then seconds later "LOUDER" breaks the door and came into the room guns blazing and told you to get up from your seat and dance to its aggressive synths.

Didn't expect to be enjoying this EP this much but I do like myself a little bit of a surprise.

Definitely one of the most overlooked Kpop albums of 2022. The first half is solid, but the second half is just banger after banger.

Catch the Stars 2.0 and Catch the Stars 1.0 is a good song so this is good song 2.0

Ignoring the filler tracks that is bringing down the album quality by a margin, this is a fun and energetic debut by Kep1er. Sure, WADADA could get old and annoying fast, but MVSK and See The Light are 2 hell of a tracks, especially the latter. Why is that track only 1 minutes and 51 seconds long?

This is basically a TWICE album but like there's something different about it. There's this certain freshness that I get when listening to Nayeon's debut which I appreciate. I also appreciate the fact that the songs here doesn't require her to sing at a higher pitch which most of the time is disastrous so yeah another point to this album for that.

Kinda expected more from her debut but beggars can't be chooser and in the grand scheme of things, this debut is actually not that bad. Shouldn't have close it with a generic ballad tho like cmon girl you're better than this.

So glad that she didn't take the boring ballad route most singer took for their solo debut. Instead she took the dark and gothic route which fits her aesthetic perfectly.

She do be girlbossing when she said "I kiss your brother" doe.

They literally picked the worst track of the album to be the title track when "YOUNG LUV" is just sitting there prettily waiting to be picked smh.

DM is pretty generic and is probably joining the "fromis_9's TT that I will just skip when it comes to my autoplay" list alongside with "To Heart". Probably. Other tracks are good tho with "Escape Room" being the most notable.

And with that, Gyuri's dream of performing with a mature concept has been fulfilled.

Actually a pop punk Kpop song that sucks and sounds generic af? Well, welcome to Kpop 2022 pal.

Expected the album to go be more classical influenced but it's only on the opening and closer. Still a solid album tho, 'Love Shhh' and the classical influenced songs are the main highlight of the EP.

Eunbi coming through with one of the best title track of 2022, Glitch. Seriously, the production on this track is top freaking notch. The minimalist chorus followed by the drum and bass beat and goddang, that glitchy and bombastic breakdown? Oh man, it's sooo good.

The rest of the EP is pretty solid too, tho I prefer the first half of the EP rather than the 2nd half. Not saying that it is bad, it just lacks some punch compared to the first half where the glitchy production takes the song 1 level higher.

Go check Glitch out if you haven't. Don't let this one hell of a bop flew under your radar.

Overall a better album than the debut, but I think the high of this album is lower than the high of the previous album.

To be fair if you have Lxxk 2 U in your album, it makes you album's high hard to surpass.

Yknow, I actually dont mind this song after YT Music keeps playing it for me. I like the gregorian chant and the sparse space the track has. And ofc the vocals are top notch. Yikes to the lyrics tho 💀

TT is a major letdown and stepdown from Glitch which sucks but the quality of the bsides is at least still there.

It's ok. Wont say that it's like their 4th best but it is a pretty serviceable and consistent album so I'll give them that. Except for Pose. Throw that shit out of here.

Pixy doing Pixy things but better. Sucks that 2 of the members left but it's better than the entire group disbanding I guess.

Kinda a mess throughout but I don't really blame them for that because the solo stuff is actually pretty cute. It reflects on the personality of each members which, sure makes for a discombobulated album experience, but how often do you get an album where each members get to be on the spotlight on their own? Not often I would say.

Not a bad comeback for a group that has been sleeping for a while. I mean it's a miracle that we even get this album, let alone being this solid.

While I think that LOVE DIVE is pretty overrated, I think it's still an acceptable song. ROYAL is the main star of the show tho. A fun and playful song, especially the 2nd verse. Easily the best song in their entire discog by far.

Solid nu-disco. Nothing bad neither nothing outstanding.

Last Sequence is a standard and solid WJSN but Done sounds focken outdated af. Last Sequence is like carrying this single hard.

I really want to like this album more but I just can't. Some of the songwritings here just doesn't click with me. Except for Fiesta. That shit is just Click City to me dawg.

Shoezygaze lezgow. I like the idea that they are presenting here, but the execution could definitely be better. Her vocal and the instrumental is mixed way too goddamn low.

Sure, We Fresh is like one of the most ironically titled Kpop song of the year twenty twenty two, but the b-sides are actually pretty good. I'm just gonna say it, this album is pretty overhated.

I'm not as crazy on this debut as everyone else. Mainly because I find the songwriting to be mostly meh (and pretty bad on "Generation"), but some of the instrumental on the EP I find to be pretty nice. The sub-unit's name goes hard as hell tho like goddamn.

Title track is cute and the rest of the album is kinda eh. Except for Lxxk 2 U. Wow this song is a real good pop rock. One of my most listened song of 2022.

After the first 2 tracks, you can pretty much tune out of this EP because the rest if the stuff is lame-o. I don't even know how did we go from one of the most fun and interesting EP in Kpop to this washed up and bland acoustic western pop.

Oh well, at least Illusion is a banger.

Slowly but surely drifting away from being an Iz*One reject. Still need to pick a sound for their group tho.

Ring My Bell has got to be one of the worst pop rock/pop punk song that's come out this year. It sounds sooo cheap and washed up.

Mixed feeling on the album. Some tracks are pretty great but some are just a total miss for me.

I kinda don't like her attitude on this album. I don't know, the sassy attitude just doesn't click with me. That said, it's an ok EP, could've been worse honestly.

Going retro synthpop with the title track, eh? Well it seems like the week this EP is released is a retro synthpop week. Anyway, "Love is Space" is a pretty solid song.

The bsides are fine, tho I'm not really a huge fan of "Hiccups". Gotta point out one thing tho, the first post-chorus of "My Boo" has a really interesting sound. If they expand that one particular sound and make a full song out of it, that song will slams hard.

The more I listen to the title track, the more I think that it is just a goofy song. Like Iono, the melody of the chorus is just not it for me. The rest of the album is pretty ok tho.

Kinda feeling weird on this one. I mean it's not bad, but it just feels very safe for an RV EP? I dont really know how to explain it. I guess I would say that the EP is just a standard RV album with little exciting thing.

The chorus and rap verse on Dilemma is making it feels pretty half-assed. And some songs here inherits that half-assery of the title track. The best part of the album is the middle part which makes me think that they really should cut the first few and last track and keep the middle part as an EP to make it a wayy more consistent and better album.




Unless it is their last album, in that case, go kong.

Solid but nothing really special. Still rooting for them to release something amazing, because the members are talented, all they need is a better songwriting.

Rolling Quartz x Dreamcatcher when?

Not as painfully bland or generic as the previous 2 collabs, but it still feels like doing a collab is making her stuff significantly worse.
