Pure Beauty,
Sufjan creates one of the most beautiful and expressive albums I have ever heard, The lyrics are gut renching as they explore the fear of loss and grief. He uses simple instrumentals and his dreamy voice to show a sense of pure bliss.
He also uses this album to branch out his instrumentals, using electro and gospel still with that folk touch on it,

WOW, This song is classic sufjan, The clicky instrumentals and his soft voice create for some of the most beautiful music I have heard this year.
His best song by a mile, I love the energy he brings to the track, The use of the sample is amazing as well.
One of the best pop songs of the 2010's, The beat is so simple yet so effective.

I don't really have a favourite tbh, so I'll just list one I really like.
Something Comforting - Porter Robinson
The song is extremely introspective, with Porter looking deep within himself and becoming more comfortable within his own skin. This results with him slowly opening up and the autotune vocals start to fade out as the song goes before his voice is completely revealed, showing that he has overcome that barrier that once held him back. Not only that, but the song slaps. It keeps me going and I love the song to death.
