Sinner Get Ready is a harrowing experience. Learning of what Hayter went through to produce an album like this is upsetting, especially because I saw it with my own eyes, time and time again. The only reason this isn't a 10/10 is I think some of the songs struggle to stand under their own ambition. I also think the writing could be a bit stronger on some of the tracks, The Order of Spiritual Virgins was unreal and mysterious, but the writing only occasionally lived up to that peak.

The highs of this album are some of the highs of Danny's entire career, which is saying something. Tracks like Monopoly and both the title tracks are unforgettable. Where this album falters though is in its consistent quality. Olivia Rodrigo is genuine and the savior of modern pop music. She is young and already this popular which fills my cold black heart with joy, because I think her potential for growth is off the charts, and the hits on this album are stellar.
