Is this Post-music?

This is such a mind-blowing album to me, I mean I love Post and Prog rock respectively and mixing them together with a little alternative thrown in is as good as it sounds. Every song on this album just has something special about it that makes me adore each one. This album just feels like lightning in a bottle to me, just everything lined up perfectly and made one of the greatest albums of all time to me.

And then there’s the layering, HOLY SHIT this layering is fucking insane. If you focus hard enough you can pick up on a new sound after each listen. That’s how you know it’s a damn good album when there’s 50 moving pieces that all move so harmoniously together like this.

And don’t even get me started on these vocals, because apparently putting alternative rock style vocals over all of this is just what makes it even better somehow.

What’s most impressive to me is the mix of all these genres into one and somehow sticking the fucking landing.

This album is legendary and extremely underrated. For the love of god please check this thing out if you like Post or Prog rock at all. Hell this album would make a good introduction to either.
