The Venusian crew all dying, going to hell and getting sent by literal SATAN to go wipe out all the rich people on Mars is one of the coolest endings ever. Someone please for the love of god tell me what the fuck is lolicore? This man dropped a whole lotta bullshit and then randomly dropped one of the most beautiful EPs ever and went straight back to the bullshit😭

Wow, y’know I was scared going into this because I’ve never liked Charli’s music. I don’t think it’s atrocious or anything, it’s just not for me. But after seeing the fairly bad ratings on this my curiosity grew too high, I had to check it out for myself and wow, this just sucks. And I know it’s satirical but guess what, Weird Al is satirical and his music is actually really listenable. Key word is listenable, not good. Just LISTENABLE.

Also I’m like 2 quarters into the album and this is legitimately the greatest live album I’ve heard so far, the consistency of this album is actually absurd, basically all songs on here are the best versions of those songs.

Violence is the best layer, I will ultra KILL anyone who disagrees.

And The World Looks White is so underrated. The World Looks Red would not be nearly as powerful as it is without that beautiful atmosphere that crashes into chaos. Both songs need to be listened to simultaneously to really get the full effect.

I was preparing myself for Minos Prime to beat my ass but somehow the Ramiel reject killed me more times.

Leaving Meaning is so unappreciated on this album. The whole track just sounds like if Swans went full Jam Band. It’s fucking awesome. Not rating it since I already rated the CD version.

This is such a mind-blowing album to me, I mean I love Post and Prog rock respectively and mixing them together with a little alternative thrown in is as good as it sounds. Every song on this album just has something special about it that makes me adore each one. This album just feels like lightning in a bottle to me, just everything lined up perfectly and made one of the greatest albums of all time to me.

Yeah I can’t say I see what people see in this. I mean god it just sounds so generic, like this doesn’t even feel like a slight return to form of the Yes I know and love. I just think this band should be put it rest. I mean their discography has been drug through the mud with the pile of mediocre albums under their belt.

I know this review seems harsh but I really got my hopes up from all the appraisal that one of my favorite bands ever was making good music again.

FANTASTIC Shoegaze ep! I wish I found out about this ep sooner because every song has the exact feeling that I get out of the best of Shoegaze. Each track respectively makes you feel like you’re floating with hypnotizing guitars and cloudy vocals. And don’t forget about those damn good drums!

Overall this ep is amazing. And it’s insane to me I found it because of Jane Juliet from the big Kaisen💔
