It's a good comeback for CHVRCHES after the disappointing Love Is Dead. I feel the album has enough replayability power and a few shiny, epic moments. She managed to create unique niche in pop and I love it. The music here seems effortless and serves as a great preambule for her absolute peak - Ghosts (2007). Siobhan may not release any other records as a solo artist, as she said before, but what she already left is very good.
Albums like this are the reason we love music
It's beautiful, easy to listen but not simplistic at all. Great voice, great instrumentals, great atmosphere.
Very solid effort with at least 7 great songs. The first 2-3 tracks are kinda boring but after them the album kicks in hard. While Cudi is not inventing new sound, he is far away from the old tired trap formula. The beats are awesome and some of the hooks are brilliant. Bravo, Cudi.
Acquire a good set of headphones, go out for a walk and you will be refreshed, your will to live will be back with full force.
Simply brilliant. Fiona comes at you like a wave. She is unstoppable. A monster. A behemoth.
Great pop bangers like Voglio, Muhammad Ali, Rivoluzione, Atlantico, Buona Vita...
Bunch of... demos?! Trouble In Town & Champion of the World are pretty good, though.
