LCD Soundsystem - call the police / american dream
77

the same old thing again and again
i like call the police, though

Blondie - Pollinator
75

the first 5-6 songs were killer pop and then the others that followed were filler pop

At the Drive-In - in·ter a·li·a
78

It's a fun record from a routined band but nothing memorable, though. You might find it super catchy (virtually on any song) or super messy.

Ryan Adams - Prisoner B-Sides
80

Not bad at all.
Favs: "Are You Home?", "Let It Burn", "You Said"

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
80

what is the fuss all about?! just an average commercial record...

Alexandra Savior - Belladonna of Sadness
77

greatly produced, catchy, predictable, repeatable, emotionless
"Shades", "Audeline"

Wire - Silver/Lead
79

Oh boy, never been into this band, but that record is great.
They know what they want and they deliver it.
"Diamonds in Cups", "Brio", "Silver/Lead"

Elliott Smith - Either/Or
90

After 6 months of relentlessly listening to new albums every day, this is the first record that I really dig.

Mary Margaret O'Hara - Miss America
87

Absolutely brilliant, "My Friends Have" is one of the best songs I've ever heard.

Lorde - Liability
62

she is a good writer but...
we are bored of her.

Pylon - Gyrate
85

They're not as good as Gang of Four but they do have the Passion. And I absolutely love the instrumentals!

Ride - Charm Assault
63

Now they just sound like any other slightly successful indie band.

Bargou 08 - Targ
82

Great folk tunes from Tunisia with wind instruments dominating the picture. The band comes from a poor area (the town of Bargou) and its' purpose was to collect and preserve traditional songs from the region. Then those songs were combined with modern sound and the result is delightful.
Reminds me of bulgarian folk music (we have oriental influences) in a really good way.

Silja Sol - Ni Liv
82

Yet another great record from the norwegian pop-princess - solid indie sound, super good repeat value, cool ideas here and there. She's not popular but you should give her a chance.

Magazine - Real Life
88

Super-catchy post-punk.
"My Tulpa" and "Shot By Both Sides" (Original Single Version!) are among my favourite songs, "Burst" is also a great one.

Sheep, Dog & Wolf - Egospect
83

"Glare", "Problems/Canvas"

The Wake - Here Comes Everybody
81

"O Pamela" and "Here Comes Everybody" are my favourites.

Mitski - LUSH
84

Awesome. Only Puberty 2 is more addictive (slightly).
Standouts:
"Brand New City", "Liquid Smooth", "Pearl Diver"

You Me At Six - Night People
77

This is actually pretty decent pop rock record, with a heavier sound. It's forgettable but fun at times.
"Make Your Move", "Spell It Out"

"lol, you guys. i just never edited this review, though i admit it's pretty stupid. with "average" i mean "just another", not that the record is average in quality. it's a good album but overrated imo."
