Did a talented artist like you really use AI instead of paying another artist $100 to do a drawing? I mean, the EP doesn’t have anything interesting about it anyway—it’s just about ancient Roman kings and stuff, if you buy that. I think it’s a stain on your otherwise great discography.
To be honest, I’m kind of an At The Gates hater. Except for two songs from Slaughter of the Soul, no matter what I tried to listen to, I just got bored, so I stopped caring about this band altogether. I still think the vocals have a bad style, but they haven’t made a bad album—there were parts where I headbanged and shouted “hell yeah,” and it made me happy. A band I normally don’t like at all has put out a great piece of work. I’m feeling positive. ... read more
I listened to three albums in a single day, and I’m writing a comprehensive review of this one. David Gray and Sam Loynes are artists I’ve always adored since their days with Akercocke. And on this album, they’re amazing—that raw, primal intensity I love, that ecstasy, and that unique, metal style are utterly captivating. I hope Jason Mendonça collaborates with this band on an album in the future.
I’m not a fan of Immolation, and I don’t really like their style, but after listening to this album, I decided to give their discography another listen because I really enjoyed it this time. It’s a truly great death metal album, and there are several tracks I really like that I plan to add to my collection.
I don’t know, the songs are definitely high-quality and good, but I didn’t get that special something from this album. It feels like there’s always a certain imbalance. It’s almost as if they didn’t really want to make an album while working on this.
A classic style death metal, sometimes you need a band can say check out this sick solo ı made
Not bad. I was expecting more from Lamb of God, but it's about the close quality as the average songs on their other albums. Still good, of course, since it's Lamb of God
Ah, Mayhem, my sweet treat. Right now, I'm not sure—the album hasn't quite met my expectations for Mayhem, and it has a flavor reminiscent of bands that have recently started making black metal. If I listen to it repeatedly, I'll probably get used to it. I love Mayhem, and maybe the new album means a new Istanbul concert.
An expert bağlama play, and chants tastle like Like a history stretching from the Euphrates River to Egypt
I wish I could give “Verdelet” more than 100 points.
There was no need for 19 songs, but it's an album that I enjoy listening to. Sometimes you just need to listen without overthinking it.
Yes I am a Behemoth fan, Yes I am using Jim Dunlop Behemoth Hybrid Wound Nickel Bass String on my Yamaha TRBX304
These songs have a smell reminiscent of the basement and attic of our family apartment building.
It just feels like a long version of "Moonchild (including The Dream and The Illusion) by King Crimson".
The songs are great, but incredibly long, and they could have been even better if they had polished them a bit more. also The album artwork is fantastic.
