Wasteland: What Ails Our People Is Clear

post-punk is one of my favorite genres. and this is a great post-punk release. full of energy, full of engaging and intriguing sounds, rough ideas, and heaviness intertwined with darkness that make the record such a fun ride. it's just pumping with pure, raw emotion that comes out in an awesome way. however, the vocals could be better. while i don't have that much of a problem with them, on some tracks they become off-putting. either way, though, the album is able to really make up for that one issue and i can imagine this would be a fun one to enjoy at a concert.
