I'm redoing my review. I will be telling you what my thinking process was when I was listening to The Origin of My Depression. This is a bit disturbing so read at your own will.

So let me describe how I feel when I listen to this LP. It all starts with "Detransitioning." You're greeted with a soft voice with a beautiful introduction. So quiet, so peaceful just like we all were at one point. Then something creeps up on you, you don't know what it is but it's surrounding you. It gets ... read more

it finally took me 3 years to get into Beach House and it would be this album that caused it.

Beach House is an interesting duo that i never thought i would deeply be into now. at first i didn't really Teen Dream, Myth, and Depression Cherry; only a few songs every now and then but it wasn't enough to keep me interested in them. then i took a shoe gaze dive, got into more of the dreamy/bedroom pop vibe and realize beach house was a thing. and MAN i'm glad i took that journey. but even after ... read more

honestly this is a vibe, its not like exciting or there best but its pretty nice. it has that sugar vibe but more of a dark twist to it. i do want more of stuff like buzzcut or anything besides ginger. bangers only bh, make me proud

the only complaints i have is that the singing flow gets repetitive quite fast and most of the songs are too short in my opinion. there could of been more on it and more fill up time. other than that this is a pretty raw emotional hyperpop lp. some bangers and dulls but the potential is there

favorite track: stuck up, make-believe, lights out, ur the reason im this way, broken record, relapse

"loser jobless virgin jackass fucking dickhead." parannoul released one of the most punchiest, rawest, powerful record and yet it comes out dreamy and luscious. to see the next part of the dream isn't only just a masterpiece record, but a record that tells a story of how a 20 year old wanted to be a rockstar, but the harsh world and society brought him down. this could be viewed as any way but the real question is what is the real meaning of life? why are we here and what even is our ... read more
