Labrinth’s talent has never been in question, and ever since Electronic Earth I’ve been anticipating a true solo statement. Sadly, it hasn’t materialized yet: this album certainly isn’t it.

It almost feels as though the same generative AI that produced that little video of the evolving album covers also created this track. As much as it pains me to say this, especially as someone who genuinely likes Loreen and has experienced her live, (which was incredible) this simply isn’t it. It sounds like what you’d get if you asked an AI to generate a Sia song sung by Loreen: outdated, formulaic, and utterly devoid of soul.

A great pop single. Nothing else to add.
