After the obnoxious trainwreck that was “Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned”, “Invaders Must Die” is a fun, refreshing, punchy and catchy record that revitalizes the energy that has always made The Prodigy so damn good in the past!

Why would they follow up such a critical success with this? There's just so much wrong with this! The synths are fugly, the vocals are annoying as hell and they drag on for way too long!

"A Fine Mess" is basically just some leftovers from "Marauder". The instrumentation is fine and the writing's decent but everything else about these tracks is so rough and so horribly mixed.

"I Am Easy To Find" is a hauntingly beautiful record with pretty instrumentation, great melodies and exquisite writing. The female guest vocalists also bring a whole new light to this 63-minute album.

Wait. A Carly Rae Jepsen album that doesn't have an obnoxious lead single? Count me in!
While I still prefer "Emotion" over this, "Dedicated" still builds upon the strengths of that record while also maturing Carly's vocals and songwriting, adding even more undeniably infectious hooks and turning the 80's grooves up to 11!

"IGOR" is a very conceptual album as it follows a person, akin to Tyler, falling in love for someone until that love deteriorates and eventually he just wants to be friends with this person. It's a very interesting, beautifully-executed concept that fits the production style very well. Speaking of which, the production is the main highlight here, with gorgeous lo-fi aesthetics and great sampling. The guest features are also a very big mention. I'm not going to namedrop here, as there ... read more
This is a HUGE improvement from their previous records! "El Pintor" is a beautifully produced, well written and meticulously crafted record that takes the sound from "Turn On The Bright Lights" and upgrades it to make it fresh again. This could've been their sophomore record and it still would've succeeded!

The album art represents how I feel pretty well. The logo looks like it's going to form into something cool, but it just stops. While the production and lyrics are solid here, everything, from the guitar work to the structuring, sounds lazy and uninspired and the record is just a slog to.

I like the production and lyrics here and I think "Our Love To Admire" is very melodic and solid overall. It's just that Interpol is beginning to sound formulaic.
I do admit that the album cover, involving an interspecies threesome, is pretty cool.

"Animals" is a beautifully-crafted epic that takes its interesting sociopolitical themes to great heights with fantastic writing, outstanding instrumentation, excellent guitar-work and a phenomenal attention to detail! These massive pieces of work are arranged so perfectly and mixed so tightly that "Animals" stands as one of Pink Floyd's near-perfect achievements! It's a shame that such classics are overshadowed by "The Dark Side of the Moon" (pun not ... read more

"Meddle" was the start of a stream of classics from Pink Floyd's catalog! The entire album, in typical PF fashion, ranges from beautiful to bizarre and mysterious, which replicates the feel of the cover very well, the production and song structuring is top-notch and "Echoes" is my favorite Pink Floyd song of all time!

"Call Me Maybe" was a song I never took that seriously, even at 11. So, I thought the positive feedback for "Emotion" was a joke. Especially when the lead single really, really, really annoyed me when it came out. But here I am listening to it and I was very surprised by this! The 80's pop aesthetics are tastefully done, the typical subjects of boy loving are handled extremely well with Carly Rae Jepsen's great songwriting and the hooks are irresistibly catchy! As a newcomer, I should really get used to the fact that listening to Logic is a draining experience.
So, unlike "Supermarket", this actually has a couple moments in the beginning that I actually found decent. But that still doesn't excuse the absolutely dreadful lyrics on display. Holy shit does he have the worst lyrics and hooks in mainstream rap. There's barely a redeeming quality about this record. Avoid like those Fortnite clickbait YouTubers.

It's evident that "Anoyo" is a follow-up to last fall's "Konoyo", from the classical Japanese aesthetics to the tracklist telling a story that continues from the aforementioned album. This is an improvement on its predecessor, which I have to admit was a little inconsistent. The spacious, floaty atmosphere vibes well with the minimalist cover art, the sounds Tim Hecker toys with are organic and diverse and the arrangements are just phenomenal! Overall, this one of the ... read more
"Here Comes The Cowboy" is such a depressing album, right down to the maturity of Mac's lyrics and the dreaminess of the guitars. I don't think I've heard him so vulnerable before, which isn't a bad thing. The production is rock solid, going for a stripped-back approach to arrangements that compliments his feelings towards loss and public image. It's a little flawed though and it's probably his weakest record. There are a few tracks that don’t feel very fleshed-out. “Choo ... read more
By ditching the vocal samples, "Yanqui U.X.O." lacks the commentary of its predecessors and the climax is abrupt and a bit underwhelming. But it's still a gorgeous, emotionally-involving record that packs such an amazing punch in a discography that has already pulled so many punches and risks! Even if it's not their best record, that's not even saying much!

“Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada” builds upon the strengths that made “F# A# ∞” great and shortens it into an EP with great success! Both tracks are experiences of their own! "Moya" builds up to a chaotic final 5 minutes while "Blaise Bailey Finnegan III" tells badass stories of speeding tickets and government corruption while a noisy orchestra plays down the street!

"F# A# ∞" took me on the same emotional rollercoaster as "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven", which is definitely not a bad thing. The dreary, post-apocalyptic atmosphere, populated with its hysterical, Jesus-obsessive denizens, is absolutely breathtaking! The structuring of all three tracks, from their long buildups to their explosive climaxes, is absolutely mind-blowing for a debut! Nothing hits me hard with its emotional brevity like GY!BE does.
