It may be a big change in sound compared its predecessor, but it might be for the better. It’s experimental, beautiful, genuinely funny and weirdly addicted to idle worship. Overall, “Congratulations” is my personal favorite MGMT album!

Amazing
Wow... I guess we’re here now. Well, that was a let down. The lyrics are shitty and Rivers even chose to go for a millennial pop direction. Correction: A very bland, overproduced millennial pop direction. Overall, “Pacific Daydream” is yet another sour spot in Weezer’s already sour career.

At last, we have a "mature" Weezer album. Sharp writing, funny narratives, outstanding hooks and that nerdy Weezer charm that fans have been waiting decades for makes “The White Album” one of their best releases in years!

I want this ass to shrink away from me so that I won’t have to see it again.
I’m afraid that people will make fun of me for this but at the same time, I’m doing this for nostalgia sake. Now let’s be children and eat our own sh— um... poop.
I remember listening to this MANY times when I was, like, 5 or 6 around the time it came out. And surprisingly, I still have it today. Complete with a cardboard case (points for creativity, I guess) and a CD that’s scratched up in multiple places. Yet it still works.

YES!!! WEEZER’S BACK, BABY!!! The writing is good, the hooks are great and the instrumentation is great! Not only is "Everything Will Be Alright In The End" a great Weezer album, it’s also a great apology for the shitty work released a decade prior!
Also, I wanna boop that monster! OwO

It feels like they knew they fucked up and decided to write decent music. That does show with some of the tracks here. But while there’s nothing downright terrible here, this definitely feels rushed. Also, that fucking album cover. Like, why?

Holy shit. Wow... I mean, I thought the ratings were a joke. I mean, that’s probably the best dog to ever jump. I just want to boop it. But now, I’m just speechless. I can’t believe how lame, stupid and downright horrible this shit is! One of the worst rock albums I've ever fucking heard PERIOD (*puts in multiple exclamation points instead*)!!!!!!
Fav Track: Well, I guess "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" ain't that bad...

This is A LOT better than “Make Believe”! It can be dumb fun and when it reaches its highs, they’re really big highs. But “The Red Album” feels extremely disjointed and Rivers’ lyrics are still pretty bad.

The basslines, the grooves, Syd’s voice, and the melodies were very fun to listen to! It fell a little flat near the end. But it was a great time overall.

I was actually looking forward to listening to Dirty Projectors’ music. But this is like a lower point compared to the other projects. It’s somewhat catchy and colorful and I like the style. But something feels missing on this record.

Good
I’d say this band comes close to being the most innovative band ever. But they don’t even compare to Thomas & The Friends. At least it taught me how to drill my foot for 3 whole minutes and scream “I’M SAD AND LONELY!!!”
Oh! The Michael Jackson feature was pretty neat too! Good job Mister Chris-Chan Senpai Man!
Most of this album consists of Yungblud’s sometimes obnoxious voice, cringe-worthy lyrics and messy production. He even tries to imitate a DJ record scratch on the final track... what the fuck? It sounds like Adam Sandler just stubbed his toe.

P.S. It also sounds like a Happy Tree Friend but I found the first one funnier.
It’s very spotty and sometimes unintentionally funny. But Juice WRLD’s emo-trap sound does have some potential. With some interesting melodies and a few tracks that I really like.

"A Laughing Death in Meatspace" is one hell of a weird record... and I love the living shit out of it! The noisy, quirky, even off-tempo at times, guitar and bass riffs are ear-candy for a noise rock enthusiast like me. The drums are distorted as hell, which makes the sound even punchier. The political lyrics are also extremely creative and Gareth Liddiard's drunken, manic vocal delivery bringing lots of charm to these tracks. Overall, Tropical Fuck Storm is one of the most ... read more
“PRODUCT” is a compilation of SOPHIE’s best singles. Which means you’re getting the quality you’d want from her absurdly fun and futuristic bubblegum bass bangers.

"XXX" introduced the world to Danny Brown's experimental style, but "Atrocity Exhibition" was like "FUCK THAT SHIT" and demolished that album's aesthetic in turn for a monstrous, overdosed, balls to the spiked wall, spiraling rollercoaster of addiction, self-abuse and flat-out depression. NOTHING SOUNDS LIKE THIS!!! There's not a single track on here that isn't weird or deranged in the slightest! The instrumentals teeter on the edge of both psychedelic and ... read more

Okay. To be honest, every time I listen to these songs, I get more and more irritated by how samey and repetitive they are. This record isn’t bad, the lyrics are great and the instrumentation’s fine. But it just grows very, VERY stale after a while.
