Dictator has to be one of the most bizzare songs I have heard in my entire life.
It doesn't do anything groundbreaking but it is a fun listen and it is pretty good for a debut.
While I can appreciate how interesting and weird this sounds, this whole thing is just so unpleasant to listen to. +30 points for uniqueness i guess

This album does feel like a proper evolution upon 'Parachutes', expanding the band's palette with the inclusion of a piano.

This is a very special album for me. All of these tracks have this weird cold fuzzy feeling to them yet at the same time they feel very warm and intimate.
Best songs: Untitled, Obstacle 1, Leif Ericson, Roland, The New, PDA
Worst song: Hands away (still good)
literally can't listen to more than a minute of this shit without contemplating suicide
the first two songs sound literally the same except that the second song has a single different chord in its main riff.
I knew this album was fucking amazing as soon as i heard the bass riff to Turn It Out.
EDIT 2: God this just gets worse with each listen. I just noticed how cheesy the lyrics in some of these songs really are. And god damn the production is way worse than I remember. I don't even remember it being good it's just that it sounds even worse to me now. (49-->42)
EDIT: I tried listening to the tracks i kinda liked (all of which are in the first half of the album) on their own and i actually started to enjoy them slightly less. The production really ruins them, not to the point ... read more
