Although I've yet to actually listen to any of their LPs in full, this specific compilation CD was one of my earliest pieces of music, and highly formative in my childhood. While I appreciate that a lot of this is probably nostalgia, I can't help but absolutely love this thing from front to back. From a more adult perspective, I see now just how incredibly Beatles-inspired it is at points, but that doesn't detract from the sense of joy ELO's music brings me. These tunes take up a tiny little part of my soul, and transport me straight back to the late 2000s. Love it
