Elliott Smith - Either/Or
88

Day #17 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Contemporary Folk

on either/or, elliott smith masters the art of an album which is both heartwrenchingly emotional, and calming and relaxing at the same time

The Flaming Lips - 2011 #9: 7 Skies H3 – 24 Hour Skull
NR

mfs be callin anything an ep these days

Little Simz - Sugar Girl
68

This is NOT who made sometimes i might be introvert

The Cure - Disintegration
84

Day #16 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Dream Pop

yeah not gonna lie both long season, and heaven or las vegas are better dream pop albums then this. it's still good, but nothing really pops out at me.

JPEGMAFIA - War Over Land
85

i love how the second jpegmafia isn't considered niche anymore his ratings PLUMMET
same shit that happened with tyler, and kendrick
y'all ain't tuff

naoeofer - EU QUERIA SER UM (SIAMÊS)
80

a mind boggling, brain scrambling album

Charles Mingus - Let My Children Hear Music
85

while LMCHM is more experimental for it's time, and provides a different perspective compared to TBS&TSL, it's still not as good

Guru - Jazzmatazz Volume 1
86

and i thought mickinley dixon was the most jazzy jazz rap could get

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
87

Day #15 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Psychedelic Rock

while I still prefer wish you were here, the dark side of the moon is great as well, and a lot more experimental and dramatic.

Radiohead - In Rainbows
89

Day #14 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Alternative Rock

a favorite of my parents, and man were they right to love this album. the production is unique and addictive, while the vocals pair perfectly with said production.

JOHNNASCUS - 2024.09.14
84

industrial hip hop can range from some slightly agressive trap beats to ts bro

FBC - TAMBORES, CAFEZAIS, FUZIS, GUARANÁS E OUTRAS BRASILIDADES
82

as somebody who's only listened to baile, FBC dropping a rap rock album was not on my bingo card for this year, but apparently after doing some research he's actually quite versatile. anyways as for the album it's really great. super aggressive, and very rock heavy, almost felt like brazilian rage against the machine. ok maybe not that crazy but still pretty crazy.

KNEECAP - FENIAN
77

the irish times giving ts the most irish adjectives known to man bruh. "glee and giddiness."

George Clanton - Slide
87

the definition of ethereal

The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2
90

Day #11 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Folk

kinda thought folk was just soft and quiet mom music with some good storytelling, but all in all kinda boring. holy shit did this album change my perspective. the glow pt. 2 might be one of the most climactic and emotional albums i've ever listened to. i will absolutely be listening to this again.

Krumm - It's Krummtious!
59

krumm has a lot of potential, but it the plunderphonics is too off beat and messy. sorry krumm :/

Krumm - Hey Baby!
51

i feel like the song could've been a lot better but it just ended being a bit messy. krumm stil holds a lot of potential though

STARYXSHI - Bardo
79

to quote triplo, it's not noctívago, but still relatively good. as staryxshi strives farther from hip hop elements in his songs, it feels as though the quality declines as well. however bardo still has his classic abstract production.
