The long awaited follow up to 2018’s Bon Voyage, Amsterdam based Nina June’s newest record goes to cinematic highs sonically, developing lush and orchestral arrangements alongside her soft and focused storytelling style of songwriting. Nina is one of them artists that has the ability to create such a fantasy world, with songs you can truly get lost in.

Tracks such as the very dreamy Jeremiah Blue has this fantastic prom beat in the background of the song using beautiful glittering ... read more

Art School Girlfriend’s Polly Mackey dives deep into her raw emotions on her debut Is It Light Where You Are, an album that references a recent breakup which you already know will include some beautifully brooding and emotively dark tracks. After releasing a few singles and EP’s since 2017, the fully realised art form and sound of Art School Girlfriend has flourished so poetically brilliant.

The retro late night sounds on this album really entice and draw you in, succumbing to a ... read more

At Swim I’d say is Lisa Hannigan at her very best. The woodland fairytale element of her narrative driven storytelling combines earthy folk tones and gentle percussions, creating such a unique magical essence which is just beautiful to listen to.

Irish singer songwriter Lisa Hannigan has been doing the rounds in making her name for herself for years within the folk music world, contributing to albums from Damien Rice, to voice acting and music for films such as Song Of The Sea and cute ... read more

Really nice EP by singer songwriter Holly Humberstone. With many artists alike that has this kind of relatable emotive indie style at the moment, Holly stands out slightly due to the fantastic production on these tracks. I’ve been completely obsessed with The Walls Are Way Too Thin since it came out, and I’ve been impressed with the rest of this EP when it came out. Great stuff :)

Gracie Abrams is a name that kept popping up on my Spotify recommendations over the last year, and I’ve added her music every single time. I’ve been pretty much loving her very smooth and soft vocals that has this very colourful and very dreamy imaginative element to it, definitely a voice you can get lost in, with music that really pushes her passionate relatability which is always a great thing with newly discovered artists.

The melodies on this album are just fantastic. She has ... read more

Hey Mate,
Just wondering if you were able to contribute to a list by @CamDoesMusic and @truthfulreviews based upon your 10 favourite 90's albums. This would work through you messaging myself a list from 1 being the best and 10th being the 10th best album you have listened to from the 90's. If you are able to contribute with a quote summarising the particular album as well that would be awesome! Your information delivered to us will be used to create a list named "AOTY Users Favourite 90's Albums".

Thank You So Much, Have a Great Day :)
