This album rocks. About as good as I remembered it being (got into the band a couple years ago). I really like the more experimental edges on this album, like Fantasy Fools, Backstairs, or Spidyr. I like the 80s inspired bits as well, Pretty consistent throughout, there's only one song I don't really care for.
Overall, it's the same artsy indie rock/power pop that the collective's been so good at for nearly two decades.
