I was raised on Raised By Wolves. I heard it all the time growing up, on the same mix CDs as The Strokes, The New Pornographers, Spoon, the Shins, and other 2000s post-punk revival bands, it being released 2 years after I was born. And it's still amazing to this day.

only listened to it once so not much of an opinion on it. why is there a 5 minute track of just sound effects
note that this is just my first listen, opinion might shift. sounds interesting
This album rocks. About as good as I remembered it being (got into the band a couple years ago). I really like the more experimental edges on this album, like Fantasy Fools, Backstairs, or Spidyr. I like the 80s inspired bits as well, Pretty consistent throughout, there's only one song I don't really care for.
Overall, it's the same artsy indie rock/power pop that the collective's been so good at for nearly two decades.
