Blu & Exile - Miles

I'll admit I hadn't heard of Blu & Exile, but I approached this with a good deal of curiosity since I do enjoy jazz rap. I didn't find this as jazzy as I expected, but what I got was far better. The production on here is incredible. It's a remarkable mix of those old-school hip hop vibes with older, jazzier sounds. Blu's flow and all of the features are remarkable. And it's an album with a lot to say. Just a few listens in but can say it's probably my favorite rap album in a few years.
