love her so so so much, been a fan since day one and loveee chameleon, beat a bitch up and oh my god? i'm over it? fucking BANGER, that hit me like a fucking truck. with that being said it kills me that only one song is over 3 minutes and two songs don't even make it to 2 minutes...
i mean it is trend-hopping but "it's me" is soo silly and the beat is so addicting, it is the obvious better title track between the recent hybe techno songs. also, grwm is cutee. the rest of the album feels disconnected
honestly it was kind of a letdown for me.. i found a bit cheesy all of the country references, felt like she was saying "me? i'm just a humble gal who rides horses" but i really enjoyed some songs!
not really my cup of tea, too short e too minimalistic for my taste. but it is a good album! worth the listen
doing an astral projection while this is the soundtrack must go HARRDDDD
easily the best release of the year
maría really knows how to translate into words the feeling of loving someone who's not in your life anymore, the yearning and the sorrow of love that comes with loss
WOW!! it really is something that's not being made by everyone right now. feels so fresh and so unique yet you can trace her inspirations. really feels like zara has found her identity. the only problem i have is that it is soooo short
i did not enjoy this one so much..
like, it's good it's fine it's doja but it feels a bit repetitive, not inovative at all. she has a formula that works for her and it's evidently used in hot pink, planet her and vie. scarlet does not abuse of that formula so much and even though that album hasn't hit as hard as the previous ones chart wise, it took a risk to show a new side of doja.
vie just uses the formula that worked before and gives it an 80's twist, which is ... read more
it's fineee, i enjoy a lot of his songs but idk they feel kinda out of place on this album, safe to say the singles are the best songs on the project
honestly such a bore.. absolute snoozefest
fate of ophelia and elizabeth taylor are the only songs i actually enjoyed. the rest feels SO one note, production wise and lyrically. most songs' lyrics feel written by a teenage white girl with a lack of real problems so she creates conflicts in her head that only make sense to her.
even if the tortured poets department wasn't a masterpiece, the life of a showgirl is a major downgrade
