A few good but not memorable songs and a couple of bad clunky songs (everyone involved in making "Heard It In A Country Song" should die) but this was mostly play it safe boring sure did exist country music that I wish the industry would stop pushing. This brand of inauthentic boyfriend country music being the norm now is disappointing and why modern country is so hated, even by the fans.
Best songs: Love That I Love You, Happen To Me, Dust
Worst song: Heard It In A Country Song
I've always really liked Ella Mai's voice, however I found this to be a frustrating listen even if it is good. The songs are mostly solid, but Ella is holding back noticeably on them all which stops potentially great songs from reaching that next level. The spoken outros also rarely add to the story I feel? I get what she's doing with them but they're short and don't go deep enough to leave a lasting impact. A song like "Easy" is exactly what this album is ... read more
This is the same sound she's had for years now and while it works for her, there's very little else to do with it which leaves this ep sounding largely like underwritten scraps of better songs she's done countless times before.
Best songs: I Sit In Parks
Worst song: Emerald City

Yes i know I am tasteless and stupid for hating this "Pop Bible" but good lord this hasn't aged well. I've never gotten Britney's appeal because I just don't find her to be a captivating performer. When she's flexing about how hot and amazing she is, i don't buy into her actually believing that - it's kind of like when your friend is trying to compensate by constantly saying they're doing great, and all you can react with is "oh ... read more
This album is very discombobulated in the middle section, with the sound palette completely changing from the cohesive bangers that the first half presented. Still good overall, but I wish the midsection was cut out because it was a very focused project until then and picks up again afterwards. Just a slight misstep there.
Best songs: Stealer, 악몽 (Ghost), Rodeo, Play It Cool (with Steve Aoki)
Worst song: No Reason
The deluxe tracks bring this score down a lot as it adds nothing but meaningless, boring ballads. However, the standard version of this album is surprisingly good with genuinely great ballads and even the upbeat moments were enjoyable. Lewis' voice still isn't great and does hold a few songs back, but otherwise, his best work yet by a mile.
Best songs: Heavenly Kind Of State Of Mind, Pointless, Wish You The Best, Any Kind Of Life, Forget Me
Worst song: Someone I Could Die For
After years of personal issues and personal projects, it makes sense that Demi just wants to make an upbeat dance pop album. My favourite type of music from her will always be the personal, heartbreaking ballads with phenomenal vocals but she shows that she's still got the ability to be an entertaining presence who makes bops. And that's all this album is, but it's all it needs to be.
Best songs: Frequency, Sorry To Myself, Fast, Here All Night, Let You Go
Worst song: Kiss
Megan is really slept on when it comes to technical ability and her artistic development is finally getting going. It is refreshing to hear her on new beats and try out a different flow every now and then after years of not really moving the needle past her point of comfort. She is still true to herself and many of these songs are standard Megan, but I'd still say this is possibly her best project to date. Please stop singing.

Worst song: SexOnTheBeat
Maybe jazz isn't so bad! This blew my mind, Destin sounds fantastic and clearly commits to this album - His performance is insane. You can hear how much went in to make this body of work as excellent as it is. Probably AOTY.
Best songs: all of them but ESPECIALLY A Lonely Detective (with Vanisha Gould) & BOREDOM (with Vanisha Gould)
Worst song: wHIP (with Keyon Harrold)
Amber Mark i was not familiar with your game.
Best songs: Let Me Love You, Don't Remind Me (with Anderson .Paak), The Best of You, Problem, Keep Doin' Me, ooo, By The End of the Night
Worst song: Sweet Serotonin
This album ends on a very weak note, with the last few songs (except "Afterthought") being easily the worst here. Outside of that, a pretty solid, easy listening and well produced album.
Best songs: Dracula, Afterthought, Obsolete
Worst song: End of Summer
