On this record, there is some very good songs and some not very good songs. The middle tracks of the album are the best part in my opinion. The beginning and ending aren't great.
I like the ideas here but the actual end result lacks a bit of finish. The vocals are what's killing this record because everything else sounds really good. And Chop Suey. Artists should stop trying to recreate this legendary song. It's enough misses already.
I can see the appeal, just not my type. Great bars though.
She sounds like a least talented blend of SZA and Adele. I’m not necessarily saying this as a compliment…
Feels good to listen to some new-age 1950's music. I get why people might dislike this record, but I just think that it's short enough and sounds good enough to deliver for me. Of course the content might be cliché but that's what he was going for I guess!
I knew a bit of Hannah's music coming into this album and for some reason I had unrealistically high hopes for this new LP. I found it to be an honest record but that lacks a bit of freedom that makes this kind of record a great one.
The Hyperpop/Electropop genre has disappointed me a bit this year. This isn’t an exception. Too long and very hit or miss.
I hate the fact that I missed him in Montreal last month. While his vocals aren't the strongest, it does remind me a bit of Radiohead and pleases my ears. It might be the unexpectedness that makes this record even more special.
''Never judge a book by its cover'' they said. Well this was damn close to what I guessed originally.
I thought that the actor part was the worst version of Jared Leto. I've never been that wrong lol.
Yeah this is a guilty pleasure and one of my biggest surprise this year. There's actually a few songs on here I've had on repeat.
