Wilco - Cousin
82

This is (somehow) my introduction to Wilco and I think it sounds good. There are some pretty beautiful tracks on here.

Cleo Sol - Gold
85

Again, I love Cleo Sol and this record, a little longer than the one she released like two weeks prior, is even better. There's something comforting about her voice and the lyrics she sings.

Cleo Sol - Heaven
81

Cleo Sol's voice is so soothing. Her musical styles make me feel good. This record is short and sweet and it's great the way it is.

Del Water Gap - I Miss You Already + I Haven't Left Yet
75

On this record, there is some very good songs and some not very good songs. The middle tracks of the album are the best part in my opinion. The beginning and ending aren't great.

Eartheater - Powders
77

I like the ideas here but the actual end result lacks a bit of finish. The vocals are what's killing this record because everything else sounds really good. And Chop Suey. Artists should stop trying to recreate this legendary song. It's enough misses already.

Armand Hammer - We Buy Diabetic Test Strips
68

I can see the appeal, just not my type. Great bars though.

Jorja Smith - falling or flying
75

She sounds like a least talented blend of SZA and Adele. I’m not necessarily saying this as a compliment…

Stephen Sanchez - Angel Face
81

Feels good to listen to some new-age 1950's music. I get why people might dislike this record, but I just think that it's short enough and sounds good enough to deliver for me. Of course the content might be cliché but that's what he was going for I guess!

Hannah Diamond - Perfect Picture
77

I knew a bit of Hannah's music coming into this album and for some reason I had unrealistically high hopes for this new LP. I found it to be an honest record but that lacks a bit of freedom that makes this kind of record a great one.

underscores - Wallsocket
74

The Hyperpop/Electropop genre has disappointed me a bit this year. This isn’t an exception. Too long and very hit or miss.

65

Purr was in my nightmares last night.

yeule - softscars
79

I tried to hear the album of the year claims very much, but it’s just a decent, weird record for me. Nothing more.

Tinashe - BB/ANG3L
80

I have no idea how this is considered an LP lol. It’s good though.

Doja Cat - Scarlet
73

I thought I wasn't going to like this new version of Doja based on her public image, but I guess I was wrong. The album is too long for sure but there's still a whole lot to enjoy on this record. The second half is better than the first

Rod Wave - Nostalgia
24

This album might be the most discouraging album of all time. Everytime you think this record is ending, another song starts that sound exactly like the previous one. HE genuinely might be the most repetitive and boring rapper ever.

Puma Blue - Holy Waters
85

I hate the fact that I missed him in Montreal last month. While his vocals aren't the strongest, it does remind me a bit of Radiohead and pleases my ears. It might be the unexpectedness that makes this record even more special.

77

''Never judge a book by its cover'' they said. Well this was damn close to what I guessed originally.

Thirty Seconds to Mars - It's the End of the World But It's a Beautiful Day
34

I thought that the actor part was the worst version of Jared Leto. I've never been that wrong lol.

Madison Beer - Silence Between Songs
83

Yeah this is a guilty pleasure and one of my biggest surprise this year. There's actually a few songs on here I've had on repeat.

Laufey - Bewitched
86

Listening to this is like watching a great Disney movie. It's like waking up on a day off after a great night's sleep. It's like walking into your home smelling your favorite dessert being baked. It's just so damn comforting.
