This is a powerhouse of a work, no less and much more than simply meets the ears. A large memorabilia to an amazing artist whose rather understated influence cannot be more clear the more jazz-hip hop and even lofi becomes a mainstay in mainstream music. And while reading Shing02's personal reflection and account of the creation of this compilation album was honestly heartbreaking, I think for this project in particular I will be judging it solely on the combined efforts of the message ... read more

Le Sserafims debut project is undeniably their best, at least in my opinion. I just think that all the songs in this project sound the tightest in quality, and doesn't sound like constant K-Pop "flair" that gives me a headache unlike some other popular Le Sserafim songs. Looking at you, Impurities. The World Is My Oyster is still an intro track, which I dislike but ... read more

Please take me back to when Le Sserafim made songs with bridges. Definitely the second best EP Le Sserafim has released so far, although it can depend on my mood. The Hydra is a bit of a group anthem, one that's commanding and expertly leads well into ANTIFRAGILE. Speaking of, ANTIFRAGILE is an excellent track, endlessly replayable, with a fantastic choreo, and ... read more

We got so much: 7.5/10
I meannnnnnnnnn yeah it's my favorite out of the Easy, Crazy, Hot era. EASY is so catchy, I legit cannot help but sing along every time I listen to it. And I love it's toned down almost vintage feel that the vocals and backing instrumentals give off. And Smart... ok listen, that choreo had to bump my score a little higher I can't lie. HOWEVER, it does not hurt that it has the best verses out of all ... read more

Still so fucking catchy even 8 months later. And out of the Easy, Crazy, Hot era, I think this EP stands as perhaps the boldest... although still not as bold and out there as the Antifragile era. It also DOES BUMP IN THE WHIP. Can attest. It suffers from HYBE's problematic endeavors in shortening their songs far too much. WHERE THE HECK IS SAKI is in my head rent free. ... read more

Worst of the Lsf EP's, although I enjoyed most of the releases from the Easy, Crazy, Hot era of the girlies. I can't tell if this project is Hybe trying to push a more vocal heavy EP this time around, because that's very unlike them. And while I still enjoyed the tracks this time around, WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE SONGS. Seriously. Like Ash is a good song, but it feels repetitive when there isn't ... read more
I mean... it's a little overplayed, except I haven't heard it anywhere outside of various video game shitposts and old ARMSTRONG memes. As much as I love this game, I do think the soundtrack, although composed of excellent songs, becomes a tad grating the more I listen to these gnashing sounds. Ok, that might just be because I sucked as at this game and didn't learn how to parry until like 15 hours into gameplay. Yeah I spent an hour on the fucking chainsaw dog, what of it?
JAZU DESU
This might be the fastest, more fluid jazz I've ever heard (still gotta make the Miles Davis and Coltrane album reviews :( I'm just lazy rn). However, holy shit Hiromi popped off so hard making this album. Tracks like Impressions, Recollection, and BLUE GIANT for mood, and the thrillers that N.E.W., WE WILL, and FIRST NOTE are take the cake that this soundtrack (and movie for that matter) is and decorate it such a touching, exciting, heartbreaking, jazzy way. As a Blue ... read more

This album feels like a long, serene train ride. One where fortunately all of the windows are unblocked, and sunset light invades the floor and seat. Comfort is a big part of what I'm trying to convey with this ridiculous analogy, but there is a sense of adventurous beckoning that ... read more
Nearly perfect in every way. Endlessly inspiring, gratifying, heartbreaking, and full of care. If Haikyuu! as a TV show was the night-time moon, its soundtrack is the stars guiding you to gaze upwards and remember its scenery.
Not quite sure where I'd be without it
It's Nurture but with another song to end the album with. To absolutely no one's surprise, its just as good as the original album. I do love Fullmoon Lullaby, although I wonder how the album as a whole would flow differently if the album doesn't end on Trying to feel alive. Unfortunately, (thanks a fuck ton spotify), I can't really listen to the whole album through. My guess is that Fullmoon Lullaby ending the album would feel moreso like an extension of the previous track, ... read more

I think this album is at its best when it doesn't sound just another Bruno Mars' song, believe it or not. There are moments were I feel like its just too "poppy", like it sounds like a song from the early 2010s that the internet would just eat up. I guess its not really a bad ... read more
