I really don't want to revisit this album. Its middling at best, atrocious at worst. Not even gonna gratify this review with individual ratings of the songs.

Alright let me admit it, this one is hard to talk about. As in, why do I like this album so much? Is it the thoughtful, catchy, and elegantly sung lyrics? Is it the fusion of jazz, hip-hop, lofi, soul, and a ton of other ... read more
Lyricism is his forte, and this proves true in Kendrick's diss track "Euphoria". The beat switches help break up the song, kind of as if Kendrick wants to get more and more intense with how he is talking to Drake. Would've loved to see him go absolutely all in, but I get the feeling that will come in the following weeks. Still a great song.

This feels like sugar in an album. Sweet pop songs that slap, Lipslap. The rather wistful and even at moments self-deprecating lyrics keep in line with some of the themes of, well, what I think of when I ... read more

JJK slaps. The opening slaps. Song still has not gotten old. Opening chimes are fantastic. 2nd verse is addicting as hell. The transition back into the chorus after the 2nd verse is to die for. Bridge is excellent. There is honestly so little to complain about this song. Well done Eve, knocked it out of the park.
Very nice song. Still haven't gotten tired of Eve's vocals. But Eve's formula leaves a little to be desired in the way of CHANGE.

Yeah I like love songs. And this album is just chalk-full of them :). Seriously, the quality of each song is consistently great, I just feel as a lot of them (the 9/10s) are missing that oomph that push them against the grain of romance-pop I hear a lot of nowadays. Good? Yes. ... read more

Who knew that sonic songs slapped so hard? Not me... haha. But yeah they slap, unironically. And Undefeatable makes me want to climb a skyscraper and FACE ... read more

Quite a good compilation of sounds and melodies that I would like to see incorporated in the future, although the current scene of which this album exists in is just a territory I am all too unfamiliar with, unfortunately. That being said, I did find myself enjoying the album a fair but, Lost It To Trying is a fantastic song ... read more

Fun little k-pop project. Super Shy especially is a bop. Not much to talk about, nor is therer much adherence within the project as a whole, but its catchy, flows nicely, not to mention the vocals somehow stand out, at least for me. Definitely not a bad project.

EDIT: Yeah, everything I've felt about this album has just been exemplified. I swear I'm not depressed. But there something so comforting about this album that I can't help but gravitating back to, even in the midst of every other album I've been opening my ears and heart to, this album just... gets me. The songs that I didn't seem to enjoy that much in the past have only grown more on me, and the songs I love I only have stronger feelings for. Dammit Porter, I ... read more
