First Kanye album and it was very mediocre to say the least. Few beats were good same with the lyricism, few very and far between. Not bad just not quite my tastes.
Aside from the three song line of 4-6 the rest of the album feels really bland and lacking.
Insane music. Quite an emotional rollercoaster and a journey of emotions. Can't quite formulate everything but the album is seriously something. Not mentioning the controversy and whatnot as this is strictly about the music but this is an insane piece of music. She isn't the most talented or skilled new-gen artist but she's definitely the most unique. Managing to pack this much emotion into music without so much as words is incredible. Incredible for it's time and Rare made the correct decision getting David Wise to do the soundtrack. Incredible stuff.
A good follow-up to the original soundtrack.
A really good soundtrack for a really good game. Nothing much to say other than it's amazing.
Held back by its incredibly short runtime. If the album had more time to breathe I feel it could be better.
An incredibly different vibe from the rest of their discography but they managed to pull it off.
Hard to follow up Instant Gratification but somehow they managed to make a satisfying album despite the expectations.
Funky and unique but just wasn't for me. Had high hopes coming in and that worked against the album's rating.
Not quite the album I expected. Definitely more pop-rock vibes. The Phoenix is the best song followed by (Light Em Up). Nothing terrible just not what I expected after the first two tracks.
My first listening to the Beatles and a positive listen for sure. The opening tracks of the album were quite good but it was consistent the entire way through.
Quite the listen. My introduction to Malcom so maybe it needs to grow on me a bit more but only Roommates and Sweet Boy really strike me as the good songs on this album.
Synths and vibes are cool and for it's era it's a good listen. Worth it for sure. Messages from the Stars, Winter Love, and Tears and Rain are probably my favourites off the album.
