The 1975 fifth album showed us how cohesion can make an album great. From the start of the album, we see an album that has one pretension: create a comfortable experience. Although the album might seek something else, what makes it BIG is this delicate environment, an environment that gets built track by track, this cozy vocal touch and also the phenomenal instrumental. The lyrics contrast all this coziness, with this self-indulgence, sarcasm and repetitive lines that sound like the vocalist wants to reaffirm something. Despite all the highlights, the album drags at the end with this transition to something more melodramatic, which breaks the rhythm but keeps the cohesive line, and what proofs that is the penultimate song "About you".
