Benny the Butcher - Everybody Can't Go
70

It's a quality album from Benny as expected but nothing that would really stand out too much, still a great listen tho

Pusha T - It's Almost Dry
90

Great album. The production is as always out of this world, with Pusha's cold flows just owning every part of it. The features on this are very well put together. "Brambleton" and "Call My Bluff" are in my rotation nonstop.

Pusha T - DAYTONA
90

What an album. Part of Kanye's 2018 album run, this one is definitely one of the best ones. Pusha's delivery on here sounds very cold-blooded as usual, with Kanye's production behind it, it sounds even scarier. The intro track is an incredible opener and "The Games We Play" has one of my favorite Kanye beats ever.

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
90

Incredible collaboration album from Kanye and Cudi, shame we don't get to see them together again. Definitely one of my favorite duos in hiphop music, the production on this is out of this world and this whole Kanye run he's been on in 2018 was perfect. Not a miss on this, especially love the "4th Dimension" production and the vibe of the title track. Great experience.

Aminé - 13 Months of Sunshine
60

Cool album. Love the production, love the vibes but overall I don't revisit this that often as I thought I would. The songs are really good and it works really really well as an album especially for hot days, but something about it just doesn't make me want to go back.

Aminé - Limbo
100

Amazing, smooth, chill, calming and overall incredible album. Not a single miss, great album for both hardcore listening and paying attention to everything that's going on aswell as for the moments when you just want to put something in the background. So fun, always have it on repeat.

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
80

What a listen this is. The production all over this album is absolutely insane and always blows my mind. The bass on "God Loves You" is crazy and it actually is my favorite beat on this. Overall a very chaotic but great album.

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
80

So this was actually my first JPEGMAFIA album I've listened to and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The slower cuts on this album are definitely my favorite parts but even the "louder" ones are great too. Vince Staples had an incredible verse on here, definitely one of my favorites of 2024 and I really love Denzel so I had high expectations for "JPEGULTRA!" but for some reason it didn't really resonate with me as much.

BigXthaPlug - TAKE CARE
70

Nice listen it just kinda came and went for me. Some of BigX's best writing on here but some of the songs are also not really memorable when it comes to everyday rotation for me.

Skepta - Ignorance is Bliss
90

The production on this album is very interesting. Skepta's proving that he's one of if not the best UK rapper right now and there's not a single miss on here. Everything hits, everything has a great vibe and it's just fun to listen to with Skepta touching on some interesting relationship moments.

Rome Streetz - Trainspotting
60

A nice project but not one of my favorites from neither of these guys. The beats are really good and the rapping is incredible it just doesn't stand out as much as some of their other work (atleast for me).

Rome Streetz & Daringer - Hatton Garden Holdup
80

Just a great album. Rome is one of the most consistent rappers right now and Daringer is such a great beatmaker. Songs like "Drive By" are on one hand so simple that it just works so well.

Rome Streetz - KISS THE RING
90

This has to be one of the best boom bap albums of the 20's. The production on this is absolutely incredible, Rome Streetz and Conductor are one of the best rapper/producer duos out there. Rome's delivery is crazy aswell. Overall this is one of the must listens of the past few years.

Big Sean - Better Me Than You
80

I've never really listened to Big Sean but when "Together Forever" with The Alchemist came out I absolutely loved it and had it on repeat for a long time, so when this album dropped I gave it a listen a have to say I'm happy with it. I love the theme, love Sean's flow, and just overall I've really enjoyed this album. Even though it's quite long I still enjoy every song on here and they're standing for their own. Really enjoyed this one.

Niko B - dog eat dog food world
100

What a project, I absolutely love this. Had this in my rotation since it came out and still can't get enough of it. Niko B's definitely one of my favorite artists currently and I'm really excited for his next releases. I love the vibe and aesthetic of this project.

That Mexican OT - Chicken & Sauce
40

Pretty mediocre album. Maybe like 1 or 2 songs worthy of going back to, the rest just sounds like some fillers and very uninspired trap music.

That Mexican OT - TEXAS TECHNICIAN
70

Actually a very nice listen with a lot of hard hitting bangers. Excited to see what he does in the future.

ian - Goodbye Horses
60

In my opinion, this is much better than Valedictorian. Still not anything crazy but I actually found my way into this. Definitely can imagine ian doing some interesting projects in the future. This one has quite a lot of bangers but also some of the worst songs I've heard in 2024. "Sh*t Sad" is just horribly disgusting.

ian - Valedictorian
30

Not a fan of this. Almost everything on here sounds bland and lifeless.

2Pac - All Eyez on Me
80

A great album, maybe too long for my liking but still very enjoyable. 2Pac's biggest classics and moments are on here. As a person who started listening to rap long after Pac's passing, this was a nice experience to see and hear where it all came from and how we got to where we are now.
